Upon completion of her degree from the University of Alberta in 2005, Becky Benson chose the natural transition to new and existing residential sales. Growing up in a successful family owned and operated home building business makes this second nature to Becky. Her expertise, love for the industry, stellar work ethic, and exceptional networking skills have resulted in a very successful career in Real Estate sales in the Greater Edmonton area. Sherwood Park Kindergarten

Sherwood Park Kindergarten is a school dedicated to Kindergarten students. This small school was created in the ’70s to enhance children’s foundation of early learning. While the class is located in the Good News Moravian Church, this school has no religious affiliation. Sherwood Park Kindergarten is not a public school, and as such there are fees associated with this institution. I have been happily married to the love of my life – my beautiful wife Jillian – for 12 years and we have been together for nearly 18 years! We live on an acreage East of Beaumont in Leduc County and also have an 80 acre equestrian riding facility housing up to 26 horses in Strathcona County! We have a furry family – a huge sheep dog named Eddie, our kitty Bernice and a plethora of horses!

I was born and raised in Edmonton. I studied at the University of Alberta, where I achieved a Master of Science in Medical Sciences and a Management Development Certificate. I worked several years as a Forensic Technologist for the RCMP Forensic Lab before taking a position as the Head Chemist and Safety Officer at a major chemical manufacturing plant. I became interested in Real Estate after the acquisition of the farm property and the construction of our equestrian facility. The farm came with two farm houses. Over the past three years, I have spent countless hours personally renovating these properties: demolition, drywalling, mudding and taping, patching and painting, plumbing, tiling showers, installing laminate, vinyl and tile flooring, faucets and light fixtures, trim and baseboards, new appliances, landscaping, etcetera! I am proud to say that we now have two awesome rental houses on the farm! This experience made me realize how much I enjoy housing and construction.

I have always been a people person, talk to strangers regularly, and enjoy working with people! So, after a rewarding career as a Scientist, I have shifted gears and am full speed ahead as a REALTOR®! And I am loving it!!!
