As a team we love to incorporate events around raising money for our favorite charities. We create a synergy among our sphere to feel like they’re a part of something really good. Our past events have primarily been focused on raising money for the Children’s Miracle Network, however, we have also raised money for the St Nicks Soccer Academy (inner city school with an incredible soccer program to get kids involved in team sport) and the Madden Deluca Pediatric Foundation for Cardiac Research.

Our team enjoys spending time volunteering and hosting for different charity & networking events including our annual pumpkin sale where in the past we have been able to raise funds for both the St. Nick’s Soccer Academy and the Stollery Children’s Hospital.

This year we have a brand new activity book fundraiser planned and we are hoping to surpass the over $5000 that was raised with our blockbuster “Go Canada” touque fundraiser for the Stollery Children’s Hospital during the Winter Olympics. We are in the midst of designing and naming an Edmonton children’s activity book for kids to colour, connect the dots and learn all about Edmonton landmarks that make our city unique – West Edmonton Mall, The Fringe, Rogers Place and the Museum to name a few. These books will be great for kids of all ages and the win-win is that every activity book sale directly benefits the Children’s Hospital for families in need.

It’s no secret that we are soccer fans and we love nothing more than putting our love of the game to work for charities that are near and dear to us. Last year we were able to raise money for pediatric cardiac research by holding a Euro 2016 soccer pool for the Madden Deluca Foundation.

Instead of just making cash donations, we believe as a team that we would like to create synergy among our sphere with purposeful events and activities to achieve extraordinary results in raising money within our community.
