Gillian Stickney of Re/Max Elite has been a realtor serving the Edmonton and area real estate market since 2003. Gillian is far from a typical "sales person" and considers herself more of a liaison or a customer service provider for buying or selling real estate. In fact, it was her aversion to being a "sales person" that kept her from getting started in the business earlier than she did. Gillian always had a love of real estate, even as a young girl. It was an exciting day when the house calendar would come in the mail from their family realtor. She would flip though the months and scrutinize each home picking her favorites. Gillian always knew that she loved business and wanted to be the driver of her success, but was not sure how to accomplish it. Her love for real estate continued, and she bought her first home while she was still in school, prior to becoming a realtor. Several years later, Gillian was at a cross roads in her life, she received the encouragement of three individuals in her life who suggested she should get into real estate. It was an "ah-ha moment" for her, she knew they were right and that she would would excel at this. Since then, Gillian has enjoyed much success over the years including "rookie of the year" in 2004 and top 5% of all agents in 2006. Her continued approach to serve clients with sincerity and integrity has allowed her a lucrative career based on repeat and referral clients.
