Gil offers more than a quarter century of Real Estate, Business and Personal experience. Helping his clients unravel the complicated, stressful and often confusing maze of buying or selling Real Estate. Gil’s Business accomplishments include recognition by the City of Edmonton, Chamber of Commerce as the ‘Small Business Owner of the Year’ in 1996. In the roles of Senior Executive Vice President and Business Manager, Gil has been a reliable and dedicated employee for several major companies. In addition to representing clients in a variety of Real Estate sales, he has personally owned and managed Residential, Investment and Recreational properties. Gil learned early the values of Family, Integrity and Hard Work. At age 4, Gil and his family moved from their home in Glasgow, Scotland to Edmonton, Alberta. Gil watched his parents sacrifice, and work tirelessly, to build their new life in Canada. In these early years, Gil learned to have confidence while facing a big risk, to meet all challenges with an optimistic and respectful outlook and to never give up. Today, Gil is teaching his own children these values. He and his wife Karen live in Edmonton and raise their family, son Briar and daughter, Brooklyn. An avid sports family, Gil and Karen spend much of their personal time watching Brooklyn, a successful young diver, and son Briar playing Hockey, Baseball and Ball Hockey. Gil has lived in Edmonton and the Capital Region for nearly 45 years. Growing up, Gil played Hockey, including Junior Hockey with the Leduc Riggers. While studying Education at the University of Alberta, Gil was the president, and proud member, of Delta Epsilon. Gil is a natural leader and regularly finds himself in Leadership roles. Whether he is the Hockey Captain, Fraternity President, or leading his clients in their Real Estate business, he is a Leader you can count on. Gil’s focus is to prepare his clients with all the knowledge, experience and information they require to be certain about the choices they are making. That preparation, before they are faced with the final decision to buy or sell, allows his clients to make decisions confidently. Gil helps remove the stress and add some fun.
