Michael was born and raised in Fort McMurray, AB, where he lived there for 26 years before he and his wife made Edmonton their home. Michael graduated from SAIT in 2000 as an Instrumentation Engineering Technologist and also earned his Journeyman certification as an Instrument Technician. Michael has been married for 18 years and has 2 boys.
