Sherrie Anderson is no stranger to real estate. Having been in the business for 17 years Sherrie shares her knowledge and experience with her clients in Residential real estate, focusing on single family, condos, acreages and land sales. Her early years in real estate were spent out in Redwater at a smaller brokerage where she became very familiar with the Gibbons, Redwater, Thorhild areas.
When asked why she got into the business, Sherrie will tell you that she spent a lot of time volunteering for her 4 kids while they were growing up. She had 3 hockey players and 1 competitive gymnast but also had to find something she enjoyed doing. Having a passion for houses and the ability to "sell snowballs to Eskimos" Sherrie turned to selling real estate. Today, she still loves being part of the purchase or sale of one of her client's biggest assets. Sherrie still spends many hours volunteering her time. She has spent the last 8 years volunteering on the RE/MAX Elite Children's Miracle Network Committee, volunteers at the annual golf tournament and has volunteered for the Realtor Community Foundation. Sherrie also volunteered with the Meals on Wheels for 8 years delivering meals to shut-in people.
Sherrie grew up in Texas and after coming to Edmonton in 1972, worked at the Hudson Bay Company as a secretary, and then she also worked for a Member for Parliament for Edmonton North for 5 years. It was also in Texas where she developed her passion for riding horses. When she moved to Edmonton she continued this passion by showing horses after moving here. When she's not dedicating herself to her real estate career, Sherrie enjoys going to the pool for a good swim and spending time with her 6lb Chihuahua which gets a lot of her love and attention.
Sherrie prides herself on being “Never Too Busy for Your Referralsâ€. She is very thankful past clients come back to her and are always willing to refer her to their friends and family.
