I have grown up experiencing all aspects of Edmonton and its surrounding communities, including the Leduc & Pigeon Lake regions. Graduating from Grant MacEwan University with a Bachelor of Commerce in Management, as well as my family ties to the industry, I have wanted to be a Realtor since my youth. With a few stops in sales and corporate finance along the way, I crafted my customer service, communication, and technical skills, enabling me to hit the groung running in Real Estate.

Alison moved to Edmonton from her home in Toronto in 2001 to spend time with her extended western family. Her intention was to stay a year. Well, she stayed for 16! And now Alison calls Edmonton “home”.

After graduating from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Family and Consumer Studies, she worked as an inner-city social worker for seven years assisting residents of a 26-unit supportive housing complex with activities of daily living and other individual goals. The priority was to maintain their housing and lead productive lives within the community.
After reviewing her skill set and recognizing a passion for business as well as people, Alison embarked on a lengthy career in the hospitality business culminating with a seven year term as the General Manager of the Holiday Inn Express in Sherwood Park. Alison was responsible for a team of 25 people, annual sales of $4,000,000 and a hotel full of satisfied guests!

This then leads to Alison’s very natural transition into Real Estate in 2014. The theme of her life has always been people and housing – in one form or another!
